How long does BIAB last?
Properly applied BIAB should hold the full three-week cycle without chipping or peeling. Three independent Glam & Glow Google reviews specifically corroborate full-cycle longevity versus other Sevenoaks salons. If your BIAB chips inside fourteen days, bring it back — we'd rather fix it than pretend it didn't happen.
What's the difference between Classic, Russian and Hybrid lashes?
Classic lashes apply one extension per natural lash, for a low-maintenance everyday look. Russian Volume uses hand-crafted fans of multiple ultra-light extensions per natural lash, for a fuller appearance. Hybrid mixes both. Russian and Hybrid Mini Infills (up to a week after a full set or full infill) are designed to fill in any gaps before an event. See lash prices →
Do you do walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome when a chair is free, especially for sunbed sessions and brow tints. For BIAB, full-set lashes and facials with Kelly we recommend booking ahead. Call 07984 372015 or book online to confirm availability.
How long should I tan on the sunbed?
Sessions run three to twelve minutes. Most regulars run three to six minutes per visit. The legal time limit per session is followed strictly under the Sunbeds (Regulation) Act 2010. Goggles are mandatory and provided. If you've burned recently or you're on light-sensitising medication, please don't book a UV session — the tanning spray is a better choice. Full sunbed page →
Do I need to pay a deposit when I book online?
No. Our online booking sends a slot request straight to the salon's WhatsApp. The salon replies to confirm, usually within the hour. You pay at the salon on the day of your appointment. Card, cash, Apple Pay and Google Pay all accepted.
What is BIAB?
BIAB stands for Builder In A Bottle. It's a stronger, more flexible gel system applied over the natural nail to add strength and length without acrylic. Properly applied, BIAB holds the full three-week cycle without chipping. Removal is gentler than acrylic too.
Where is the salon and is parking easy?
Glam & Glow is at 1 Bank Street, Sevenoaks TN13 1UW, in the centre of town opposite the high street. The Suffolk Way and Buckhurst car parks are both a three-minute walk. Pay-and-display, charges apply. Limited free on-street parking near the salon varies by day. Visit details →
What's your cancellation policy?
Twenty-four hours' notice is all we ask. Same-day cancellations and no-shows may incur the deposit amount on the next booking. Reschedule once for free, any time — just call or WhatsApp.
Are you wheelchair accessible?
The main salon floor is step-free from the front entrance. The sunbed bay is at the rear of the shop and is also reachable without steps. If you have specific access needs we'd rather discuss them ahead of time on 07984 372015 so we can prepare properly.
Do you offer gift vouchers?
Yes — gift vouchers are available in any denomination from £20 upwards. Pop in or call 07984 372015. We can arrange a posted physical voucher or an emailed PDF version, redeemable against any service.
